A Bit About Me
I'm a video game junkie and tech enthusiast with a knack for spending way too much time formatting dates while coding. I went to college for Video Game Design and Development in London, ON and have worked at Electronic Arts (EA) for the past 3 years as a QA Analyst. Whether it's tweaking automation scripts in Selenium or bug reports in JIRA, I'm all about making testing better, one bug fix at a time.
This is my space to write about whatever interests me whether in QA or general tech. Living in a small town and being relegated to mostly Remote work gives me a unique perspective on innovations and the trends in the software testing field. Let's talk about it!

After a bit the job titles were adjusted and I took the opportunity to seek out new skills and responsibilities. These 2 years were so valuable to my career; I learned automation, API testing, load testing, performance testing, and coding knowledge. On top of managing a small team, delivering reports, conducting risk analyses and test planning, and taking on full ownership of major features.
Glu Mobile was bought by EA back in April of 2021, so shortly after I was hired, but it didn't really finalize until 2022. I worked on a couple different live mobile games in EA's roster and gained a solid foundation of QA methodology and best practices.
A mobile game studio where I got my foot in the door in QA. I had finished school and had no QA experience but I leveraged my knowledge of videogame design. I gained tons of knowledge about the industry, specifically around manual testing and test case writing. I also got experience testing with live games with regular feature updates and games in development.
